FAQ
HOW DO VIRTUAL LESSONS WORK?
Virtual lessons are taught with the same approach as in person lessons. I have taught many lessons virtually and have found the only difference (as obvious as it may be), is that while teaching virtually, I am not there to physically point at an instrument or hand placement. I am clear with my directions when teaching new concepts, chords, and notes, and am able to correct mistakes. It always helps me to see your instrument, so make sure I can see you on your camera! Before our lesson, we will confirm the medium though which the lesson will be given. I teach on FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Zoom, and Facebook Messenger. Other options may be considered if you have a preferred way to video chat.
My private virtual lessons are uniquely curated to meet you at your specific skill level with your instrument. Skill and knowledge of your chosen instrument are developed through songs, chords, chart reading, technique, and music theory. While music is a discipline, it is also fun! Because of this, lessons are designed to be engaging, fun, and instructive to maximize your enjoyment while learning.
Join me for private, virtual music music lessons for either guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, production, or songwriting. Lessons are for beginner and intermediate students. No previous knowledge of the instrument is required! Student must have access to their own instrument and their own internet connection. Virtual lessons typically meet on FaceTime, Zoom, or Facebook Video Chat (in Messenger), but other mediums may be used at the teacher’s discretion.
I CAN’T MAKE IT TO THIS LESSON…CAN I GET A REFUND?
Lessons are non-refundable, but definitely reschedule-able! If you can’t make your lesson, notify me at your earliest convenience, and I will find the next open slot to reschedule your lesson per both of our availability.
HOW DO I PAY?
Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and CashApp! Payment required before lesson begins.
